Live Arrival Guarantee
At Ripple Effect Aquatics, we take every precaution to ensure your live fish arrive healthy and in good condition.
To help us achieve this, we kindly ask for your cooperation in minimising the time your fish are exposed to extreme conditions.
Please avoid ordering live fish during extreme temperatures, generally below 5°C or above 30°C (day or night).
During hot or cold weather, we include hot or cold packs where appropriate. However, shipping live fish can be challenging as temperatures may vary between our location and yours.
During heatwaves, we strongly advise against ordering live fish, as even ice packs and insulated bags may not prevent overheating.
Delivery Responsibilities
Ensure someone is home at the time of delivery to immediately receive and unpack the fish.
All orders are shipped "Authority to Leave", meaning the package may be left at your address if you are not home. Ripple Effect Aquatics is not responsible for losses caused by prolonged exposure to the elements after delivery.
If a Loss Occurs
In the unlikely event of a loss during transit:
Do not discard any livestock or packaging.
Contact us immediately using our DOA contact form.
Follow the steps in our D.O.A. Policy to submit your claim.
If we determine that Ripple Effect Aquatics is at fault and you provide sufficient evidence, we will offer either:
A full refund, or
A replacement fish (if stock is available).
Please note: Healthy live fish remaining in the bag are not eligible for refund or replacement.
