CO2 tubing is the essential link between your CO2 system and your diffuser or reactor. Standard airline tubing is not suitable for CO2 use as it is too permeable and allows CO2 to escape through the walls before it reaches your diffuser, reducing efficiency and wasting gas. This tubing is specifically designed for CO2 applications, made from a denser, less permeable material that keeps CO2 contained and delivers it efficiently from your regulator to your diffuser.
This 3 metre CO2 tubing has a 4mm inner diameter and 6mm outer diameter, compatible with most standard CO2 regulators, diffusers, and check valves. Made from high-quality, non-toxic plastic, it's odourless, safe for planted tanks and invertebrates, and flexible enough to route around your tank without kinking or deforming. The transparent material makes it easy to monitor CO2 flow and spot any bubbles or blockages in the line.
The 3 metre length gives you enough to run from your regulator to your diffuser with room to customise the routing to your setup. Suitable for use across a temperature range of -5°C to +70°C.
Suitable for planted freshwater aquariums running CO2 injection systems.

CO2 tubing is one of those components that's easy to overlook when setting up a CO2 system, but using the wrong tubing costs you CO2 efficiency and money over time. Having the correct tubing on hand means your CO2 is getting where it needs to go rather than slowly diffusing through the walls of a standard airline.
Inspect CO2 tubing periodically for kinks, discolouration, or reduced flexibility. Replace sections that show signs of wear. Cut cleanly with scissors for a secure fit on connectors. You can test for leaks using a mild soap along the airline tube whilst your CO2 system is running; if you see bubbles along the airline there is a leak and your airline may need to be replaced to prevent CO2 loss.
