Aquasonic Bactonex is a broad-spectrum aquarium treatment formulated to assist in the prevention and management of bacterial, fungal, and protozoal infections in both freshwater and marine fish.
It may be used as a supportive treatment during periods of increased risk, such as when performing routine water changes, introducing new fish, or managing quarantine systems. It can also be helpful when fish appear lethargic, stressed, or off their food, which are often early indicators of underlying health concerns.
By targeting common pathogens including Velvet, Whitespot, Chilodonella, Trichodina, and Trichodinella, Bactonex supports improved fish health when used as part of a well-maintained and properly aerated aquarium system.

Directions for use:
- Ensure aquarium is well aerated during treatment
- Remove activated carbon from filtration prior to dosing
- Reduce flow rates if using under-gravel filtration
Dosage:
- Use 10mL per 40 litres of aquarium water
Repeat treatment after 5 days if required
