Whitespot (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis) is one of the most common and contagious diseases seen in aquariums, often presenting as tiny white spots across the body and fins of affected fish. Aquasonic Ichonex is formulated to assist in the treatment of Whitespot, helping to break the parasite’s lifecycle when used correctly.
This treatment provides an effective option without the harsh or toxic effects associated with many traditional Whitespot medications. It is designed to be gentler on fish while still delivering reliable results, making it suitable for use in a wide range of aquarium setups.
Successful treatment relies on correct dosing, good aeration, and maintaining stable water quality throughout the course.

Directions for Use:
- Ensure aquarium water is well aerated throughout treatment
- Remove activated carbon from the filtration system during treatment
- If using under-gravel filtration, reduce flow rates during dosing
- Perform treatment over three consecutive days as per dosage instructions
Dosage:
Treatment is carried out over three consecutive days:
- Day 1: Add 5 mL per 40 litres of aquarium water
- Days 2 & 3: Dose at half the Day 1 amount
