Fungal diseases in freshwater aquariums commonly appear as white, cotton-like growths on a fish’s body, fins, or mouth. These infections often develop after physical injury, stress, or poor water conditions, and can spread quickly if left untreated.
Blue Planet Fungus Cure is formulated to assist in the treatment of fungal infections in freshwater and tropical freshwater fish. When used as directed, it helps manage visible fungal growth and supports fish recovery as part of a well-maintained aquarium system.
Early intervention, stable water parameters, and good aquarium hygiene all play an important role in successful treatment.
Suitable for freshwater aquariums ONLY. This treatment is best used in well-aerated tanks during treatment.

Directions for use:
- A partial water change (25% of capacity) is recommended before commencing treatment and every third day thereafter before re-treatment until cure is effected
- Ensure aquarium water is well aerated for the duration of treatment
- Remove activated carbon from filtration system during treatment
- Activated carbon will remove this product from aquarium water, resulting in ineffective treatment
Dosage:
Standard Dose:
- Use 0.25 mL (5 drops) per 1 litre, or 5 mL per 20 L of aquarium water
For sensitive species including Tetras, juvenile fish, and scaleless species (e.g. loaches):
- Use a reduced dosage of 5 mL per 40 L of aquarium water
Repeat treatment after 3 days if required (following a 25% water change)

Running new fish through a 2 to 6 week quarantine period before adding them to your main tank gives you the chance to observe them closely and treat any illness in isolation, protecting the fish you already have.
