Dosage Calculator

Tank Volume: Length × Width × Water Height (cm) ÷ 1,000 = Litres

⚠️ Some medications require a reduced dose for scaleless fish such as Corydoras, loaches, and eels. Always check the product label for scaleless fish dosing instructions before treating.

A Note on Prevention

Snails most commonly enter aquariums as hitchhikers on live plants, soils and ornaments. Before adding any new plant to your tank, quarantining it in a separate container for 1 to 2 weeks allows you to spot and remove any snails or eggs before they reach your main tank. Avoiding overfeeding also helps, as excess food is one of the main drivers of rapid snail population growth. Less food in the water means less for snails to thrive on.
