Blue Planet Tri-Sulfa Tablets are a broad-spectrum aquarium medication designed to assist in managing common external bacterial and fungal infections in both freshwater and saltwater fish.
This treatment may be useful when fish display early signs of illness such as frayed fins, white spotting, mouth lesions, or general external infections. By targeting a range of common pathogens including White Spot, Columnaris (Mouth & Body Fungus), Fin Rot, and other external bacterial conditions, Tri-Sulfa can provide supportive care when used as part of a well-maintained aquarium system.
Tri-Sulfa tablets are easy to use and are simply pre-dissolved before being added to the aquarium, making them a practical option for both routine treatment and quarantine systems.
Suitable for freshwater aquariums and marine fish. Not safe for saltwater crustaceans, shrimp and corals, please remove before treatment.

Directions for use:
- Remove activated carbon from filtration during treatment
- Activated carbon will remove this product from aquarium water, resulting in ineffective treatment
- Slow flow rate if using sub-gravel filtration
- Pre-dissolve tablets in a disposable cup before adding to the aquarium
- Prolonged treatments may affect beneficial bacteria in the biological filter
Dosage:
Standard Dose:
- Use 1 tablet per 40 litres of aquarium water
For severe infections:
- Use 1 tablet per 20 litres of aquarium water
Repeat treatment after 3 days if required

Active Ingredients:
- 154.7 mg Sulfadimidine
- 154.1 mg Sulfamerazine (as monosodium salts)
- 153.5 mg Sulfadizine
Tank Volume Calculation:
Length × Width × Water Height (cm) ÷ 1,000 = Litres
Note: A temporary white residue may be visible after dosing. This is normal and will dissipate with filtration and water changes.
