⚠️ Some medications require a reduced dose for scaleless fish such as Corydoras, loaches, and eels. Always check the product label for scaleless fish dosing instructions before treating.
If you use town or tap water for your aquarium, using a water conditioner every water change is essential, not optional. The chlorine and chloramines used to treat drinking water are toxic to fish and will damage gill tissue even at the concentrations found in normal tap water. Always treat your water before adding it to the tank, regardless of how small the water change is.
