Description:
Both sizes of Frenzy sinking pellets in one bundle. The 0.5mm pellets suit smaller fish, juveniles, and nano species, while the 1mm pellets suit medium community fish and bottom dwellers. Running both sizes means you can feed the right pellet to the right fish in a mixed community tank, or transition juveniles to the larger size as they grow.
Most fish foods sold in Australia are imported, formulated overseas, and by the time they reach your tank they've been sitting in transit and on shelves for months. Frenzy is made in Australia, which means fresher ingredients, shorter supply chains, and a product formulated with the Australian aquarium market in mind.
The Frenzy High Protein Sinking Pellets are built around a premium marine protein base of anchovy, herring, krill, and tuna meals with fish oils and microalgae oil, delivering the high protein content that drives fast growth and strong muscle development in tropical freshwater fish. The formula also includes a colour-enhancing blend that supports the natural pigmentation of your fish, bringing out reds, oranges, and yellows more vividly over time with consistent feeding.
The pellets are slow-sinking, giving mid-water and bottom-dwelling fish time to intercept food before it reaches the substrate, and the resealable pouch keeps the food fresh between uses with a shelf life of up to 12 months.
- 0.5mm: suited to smaller fish, juvenile fish, shrimp, and species with smaller mouths such as guppies, endlers, small tetras, and nano fish
- 1mm: suited to medium-sized community fish, young bristlenose plecos, corydoras, and most standard tropical species
Suitable for tropical freshwater fish. Australian made.
Frenzy Diet Compatibility:
This high-protein formula is particularly well suited to carnivorous and insectivorous species, as well as fast-growing juveniles that benefit from higher protein intake.
It is also an excellent staple food for most tropical community fish. For omnivorous species, we recommend supplementing with foods that also contain plant or vegetable matter along side this feed to ensure a fully balanced diet and long-term health of your fish.
Offering dietary variety helps mimic natural feeding behaviours and supports better digestion, colour, and vitality.

Feeding Guide:
Feed only what your fish can consume within 1-4 minutes, removing any uneaten food if necessary to maintain good water quality.
For most aquariums, feeding a small amount twice daily or a larger amount once per day is more than sufficient. Many fish benefit from lighter feeding schedules, as this allows time for proper digestion and helps reduce common issues such as constipation, bloating, and internal blockages.
In our own fish room, we often feed a larger amount every 2–3 days rather than daily. This approach helps keep fish active, improves digestion, and supports long-term health, especially in species prone to digestive issues.
For fast-growing juveniles or fry, smaller portions daily may need to be offered more frequently if required, provided water quality is closely monitored.
As with all foods, adjust feeding frequency and portion size based on your fish species, tank size and filtration.
