The red and blue wavelengths do the heavy lifting for planted tanks, driving photosynthesis and encouraging healthy, compact growth. The green channel makes your aquatic plants pop with a richer, more vivid colour, while the white and pink channels bring out the natural colouration of your fish. Run the blue alone for a striking moonlight effect that makes any display tank look intentional.
Fitted with 156 high-efficiency 2835 LED chips, it delivers strong, even coverage across tanks from 120 to 140cm without running hot or driving up your power bill. The extendable bracket adjusts to fit your tank rim securely, and the PVC and ABS construction handles the humidity and splash that comes with the territory.
The light measures 120cm in length, with each bracket extending up to 10cm on both sides for a maximum reach of 140cm. Measure your tank before purchasing to confirm compatibility.

We stock these because the full spectrum output, particularly the red and blue channels, genuinely supports plant growth rather than just making the tank look good. For aquarists setting up a planted tank without spending a fortune on lighting, it's a practical starting point that doesn't cut corners on spectrum quality.
Keep the light body dry and wipe it down periodically to prevent mineral build-up around the bracket. As a general starting point, we recommend a photoperiod of 6 hours for low-tech planted tanks and around 8 hours for higher-tech setups, but every tank is different. The more plants you keep, and whether you're running CO2, will influence how long you can run your light before algae becomes an issue. Adjust to what your tank responds to and go from there. Avoid submerging the unit as it is splash-resistant, not waterproof.
