The stainless steel handle extends from 13cm to 39cm, giving you enough reach for most standard aquarium depths without having to plunge your arm into the tank. The fine nylon mesh is soft and gentle on fish, reducing the risk of scale damage or stress during netting, and the non-toxic material is safe for use with all fish and invertebrates.
This net is Large Round (9cm diameter): the round shape is particularly useful for netting fish in open water as it reduces the chance of fish escaping around the corners of the net.

The retractable handle is the feature that sets these apart. A net that hangs neatly on the tank frame and collapses for storage is genuinely more useful day to day than a full-size net taking up drawer space. For breeders and fish room keepers who are netting fish regularly, having a net always within reach makes a real difference.
Rinse the net in water after each use, we recommend having two sets of nets, one for netting sick fish or fish that have been treated with medication, this is to prevent cross contamination, and another for general use. Allow to dry fully before storing to prevent mould or odour build-up. Replace when the mesh develops holes or tears.
