The narrow diameter of lily pipe stems makes them difficult to clean with anything other than a dedicated pipe brush, and algae build-up inside the glass is one of the main things that detracts from the clean aesthetic they're bought for. While algae can block filter intake and outake pipes causing blockages and slower flow. This brush cleans it all, clears blockages and is also the one we reference in the lily pipe maintenance guides.
Rinse the brush thoroughly after each use and allow to dry fully before storing to prevent rust on the stainless steel spring. Replace when bristles become worn or the spring loses flexibility.
