Description:
Monitoring water temperature is a basic but essential part of aquarium keeping. A temperature that drifts outside the comfort range of your fish causes stress, suppresses immune function, and in extreme cases can be fatal. The Stick-On Aquarium Thermometer Strip gives you a constant, at-a-glance temperature reading on the outside of your tank glass without any wiring, batteries, or submersible components to manage.
The strip uses colour-changing liquid crystal technology to display the current water temperature, with the active temperature zone changing colour to indicate the reading. It adheres directly to the outside of the tank glass and reads the temperature through the glass, so it never contacts your tank water. At 13cm x 1.8cm it's unobtrusive and sits neatly on the tank exterior.
Suitable for freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

At this price point it's an easy addition to any tank setup, and the external adhesive design means there's nothing in the water to clean, replace, or malfunction. It's a practical first-line temperature check that takes seconds to read during routine tank checks.
Clean the strip surface gently with a damp cloth if algae or calcium deposits accumulate on the outside of the glass where the strip is applied. Do not submerge. Replace if the colour display becomes unclear or unresponsive.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the stick-on aquarium thermometer work?
The thermometer uses colour-changing liquid crystal technology to display the aquarium temperature. The active temperature zone changes colour to indicate the current reading.
Does the thermometer go inside the aquarium?
No. The thermometer sticks to the outside of the aquarium glass and reads the temperature through the glass, so it does not come into contact with the water.
Does this aquarium thermometer need batteries?
No. The colour-changing liquid crystal display requires no batteries or wiring, making it simple to install and maintain.
How do I install the thermometer?
Apply the thermometer strip directly to the outside of clean, dry aquarium glass. Choose a clear, easily visible area of the tank so the temperature reading can be checked at a glance.
How do I read the temperature?
The temperature scale uses colour-changing sections to indicate the current temperature. Read the active or highlighted temperature zone shown on the strip.
What size is the thermometer?
The thermometer measures approximately 13 x 1.8cm, giving you a compact temperature display that sits neatly on the outside of the aquarium.
Can I use this thermometer for freshwater and saltwater aquariums?
