Xtreme’s NICE® (Naturally Intense Colour Enhancer) crumble is a high-protein, colour-enhancing food designed to support growth, health, and vibrant natural colouration in a wide range of freshwater fish. With a fine 0.5mm–1mm sinking crumble size, this food is ideal for tiny to medium-sized fish, allowing them to feed comfortably throughout the water column, it can be fed as whole mini pellets or crumbled into dust to feed even the smallest of fry.
Formulated as a nutritionally dense supplementary food, this crumble is packed with quality proteins, essential vitamins, and natural colour enhancers, helping to improve immune function, breeding condition, and overall vitality. Its rich formulation means a little goes a long way, making it both effective and economical for regular feeding.
This food is particularly well suited to species such as tetras, livebearers, rainbowfish, angelfish, discus, dwarf cichlid, and fry from all omniverous species, all of which readily accept the fine sinking particles. Due to its high protein content and nutrient density, this food is best used as a supplementary feed to help boost growth rates, colour intensity, and breeding condition, especially in actively growing or conditioning fish.
For omnivorous species, we recommend pairing this food with a plant or spirulina-based diet such as Xtreme Spirulina Flakes to ensure balanced nutrition and support long-term fish health.

Feeding Guide:
Feed only what your fish can consume within 1-4 minutes, removing any uneaten food if necessary to maintain good water quality.
For most aquariums, feeding a small amount twice daily or a larger amount once per day is more than sufficient. Many fish benefit from lighter feeding schedules, as this allows time for proper digestion and helps reduce common issues such as constipation, bloating, and internal blockages.
In our own fish room, we often feed a larger amount every 2–3 days rather than daily. This approach helps keep fish active, improves digestion, and supports long-term health, especially in species prone to digestive issues.
For fast-growing juveniles or fry, smaller portions daily may need to be offered more frequently if required, provided water quality is closely monitored.
As with all foods, adjust feeding frequency and portion size based on your fish species, tank size and filtration.
