Why We Use Xtreme Aquatic Foods

We don’t stock food we wouldn’t confidently feed our own fish.

Xtreme Aquatic Foods has been a staple in our fish room for years, and for good reason. The Xtreme brand is built on over 45 years of real-world fishkeeping experience, developed on working fish farms where results actually matter, not just marketing claims!

Xtreme Spirulina Flakes

Our go-to for herbivorous and omnivorous fish, and a natural fit for community tanks. Best used alongside a meat-based food like Xtreme Semi Floating Pellets or krill-based options for a complete, balanced diet if feeding omniverous fish. Works beautifully with the rest of the Xtreme range. We have used this food on our Guppies and they love it! Xtreme Spirulina will also work great with other live bearers species such as Mollies and Platies, as long as it used along side a meat based suppliment or food.

 

Xtreme Community Crave

Our go-to all-rounder. With both krill and spirulina in the formula, it covers herbivore and carnivore needs in one food, perfect for mixed community tanks where you don't want to juggle multiple feeds. The best of both worlds, and a staple in our fish room! Just like the spirulina food above, our Guppies absolutely love this food! Xtreme community crave suits the needs and diets of pretty much any species you keep in a full community, from small fry, to medium & Dwarf Cichlids.

 

Xtreme Bottom Wafers

Designed specifically for bottom dwellers, Bristlenose, Corydoras, Loaches, other catfish, and anything else that forages along the substrate. Sinks fast and holds together well so your bottom feeders actually get to eat before it breaks apart, Our fish have gone crazy for it.

 

Xtreme Nice Naturally Intense Color Enhancer Semi Floating Pellets

A semi-floating pellet that's perfect for multi-level community tanks, some pellets float, some sink at different rates, meaning fish at every level of the water column get fed. Our fish go absolutely crazy for them, and the colour enhancement results speak for themselves!

 

Xtreme Nice Crumble

This food is perfect for all fish from tiny fry to medium sized & Dwarf Cichlids. Feed the pellet whole for medium fish, or crumble it into dust for fry and nano fish. We've been using it on some of our smallest fry including minnows and danios, and the results have been fantastic! Healthy growth and strong fish. Xtreme Nice Crumble is new to our range and already a favourite in our fish room!

 

Xtreme Wrigglers

Shaped like tiny worms and designed to sink at varying rates, Wrigglers trigger a natural feeding response in fish that love live or frozen worm-based foods. We've tested them on dwarf Cichlids and Corydoras, they dont last long in the during feeding time. We'll let that speak for itself.
