The Hemispherical Outlet features a wide, dome-shaped bell that disperses the return flow broadly across the water surface, creating a gentle, wide current that moves water throughout the tank without creating a strong directional jet.
This makes the hemispherical outlet particularly well suited to planted tanks, where strong, concentrated flow can damage delicate plant leaves and disturb fine substrate. The broad, diffused current keeps water moving evenly across the tank, supports CO2 distribution to plants, and maintains surface movement for gas exchange without the turbulence that a more directional outlet would create.
