Where the hemispherical outlet disperses return flow broadly across the surface, the Speaker Outlet directs it in a more focused, concentrated stream. The narrower, speaker-shaped bell creates a stronger directional current that pushes water across the tank with more force, making it better suited to setups where you want targeted flow to a specific area rather than broad, diffused circulation.
This makes the speaker outlet a good choice for tanks with higher flow requirements, such as setups with fish that prefer stronger currents, tanks where you want to push water toward a specific corner or filtration zone, or aquascapes where surface agitation for gas exchange is a priority. It can also be used alongside a hemispherical outlet on a second filter to create a more complex flow pattern across a larger tank.
Dimensions: 180mm height, 56mm width (12mm pipe) and 66mm width (16mm pipe). Made from high-quality glass with high resistance to temperature changes.

Clean glass lily pipes regularly to prevent algae and calcium build-up, which reduces flow and detracts from the aesthetic. A dedicated lily pipe cleaning brush (a long, flexible brush sized to fit the pipe diameter) makes this straightforward. Soak in a diluted white vinegar solution to dissolve stubborn calcium deposits, then rinse thoroughly before returning to the tank. Handle with care during cleaning as glass pipes can crack if knocked against hard surfaces. Always disconnect from the filter before removing.
