Description:
For aquascapers who want their filtration to disappear into the background, glass lily pipes are the standard. Where plastic canister filter fittings are bulky, coloured, and visually disruptive, glass lily pipes are transparent, minimal, and almost invisible against the tank glass. The result is a cleaner, more refined aquascape where the plants and hardscape take centre stage rather than the equipment keeping it alive.
The Glass Lily Pipe Inlet is the intake side of your canister filter connection, drawing water from the tank and into the filter. The curved glass design creates smooth, laminar water flow into the inlet with minimal turbulence, which is gentler on shrimp and small fish near the intake compared to standard plastic fittings. Made from high-quality glass with high resistance to temperature changes, it's built for long-term use in planted tank environments.
Height: 250mm. Check that your tank depth exceeds the pipe length before purchasing.
Available in 12mm and 16mm to match your canister filter's tubing size.
Also available as a Surface Skimmer Inlet for aquascapers who want the added benefit of surface film removal alongside the aesthetic upgrade.
Each piece is sold separately. this products is the 12mm Inlet only.
Please check your filter's internal hose diameter before purchasing to ensure the correct fit.
Suitable with canister filters for freshwater planted aquariums and aquascaping setups.
